Paris qui dort by René Clair (1925)
What is it like when all of Paris freezes? The consequences of a crazy scientific experiment are felt by a select few who have managed to escape the effects of powerful radiation. But can the seemingly unlimited possibilities of man keep a moral rein on him?
Director René Clair released the silent film Paris Sleeps exactly a hundred years ago, and we are now offering it to you to watch again with musical accompaniment by James Aitken as part of the Close errands project.
Admission 100/80 CZK.
We screen it in the original version with English subtitles.
The film is traditionally followed by a debate.
