Marta Morice pochází z Pohledu u Havlíčkova Brodu, věnuje se malbě, kresbě, fotografii a videu. Vystudovala FaVU a Pdf v Brně. Od roku 2000 žije v bretaňském přístavním městě Lorient. Zde hledá, mimo jiné, paralely mezi hlubinami oceánu a hlubinami lesů Vysočiny. Toto téma se stalo předmětem její nedávné spolupráce na uměleckém projektu s vědkyněmi z Ifrmer (francouzký ústav pro výzkum moře).
Záměrem výstavy a instalace v galerii Pomezí je oslava bezprostřednosti malířského gesta, touha po tichém životě elementárních tvarů- bodu, skvrny, přímky...touha po iluzi pohybu, nechat volný prostor barvám a svým vlastním projekcím. Martu zajímá psychoanalýza, především teorie Jacqua Lacana, dále jev plnosti a prázdna v orientální malbě ,rekurze a novodobá historie. V nakladatelství Argo jí vyšla v roce 2017 grafická novela podle skutečné události Rozvědčík.
Marta Morice comes from Pohled u Havlíčkova Brod, she works in painting, drawing, photography and video. She graduated from FaVU and Pdf in Brno. Since 2000, she has lived in the Breton port city of Lorient. Here she looks for, among other things, parallels between the depths of the ocean and the depths of the forests of the Highlands/Vysočina. This topic became the subject of her recent collaboration on an art project with scientists from Ifrmer (French Institute for Marine Research).
The purpose of the exhibition and installation in the Pomezí gallery is to celebrate the immediacy of the painting gesture, the desire for the quiet life of elementary shapes - point, spot, straight line... the desire for the illusion of movement, to leave free space for colors and your own projections.
Marta is interested in psychoanalysis, especially the theory of Jacques Lacan and the phenomenon of fullness and emptiness in oriental painting, the phenomenon of recursion and modern history. It was published by the Argo publishing house in 2017 graphic novel based on the true event The Detective.
